What dates will the APJ Partner Conference be held?

The APJ Partner Conference will be held on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 April. This is the general conference for all attendees.

In addition to the general conference, there will be some exclusive by invitation only activities held on the week of APJ Partner Conference:

  • Partner Executive Council Dinner to be held on the night of Monday 24 April starting at 6:30pm (By Invitation only)
  • Partner Executive Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 25 April. Working breakfast at 7.30am Meeting will continue 8:30am -12:30pm. Lunch will follow (By Invitation only)
  • Distributor Roundtable will be held on Tuesday 25 April. Lunch at 12.30pm. Meeting 2.00pm - 5.00pm (By Invitation only)

How do I register for this event?

This exclusive event is invitation only. The registration link is provided in the invitation you received. If you are experiencing any issues registering or have any questions about the registration process, please contact patricia.calleja@citrix.com

What information will I need to register?

Each attendee will need to provide the following information in order to register for the event: Full name, job title, company name, email, country, phone, dietary requirements (no pork or lard will be served), arrival and departure dates.

Do I need to advise anybody if my arrival and departure details change?

Please email patricia.calleja@citrix.com and let her know so she can update your details.

Can I register for someone else?

No, the invitation that you received is exclusively for yourself.

Is there a registration fee?

Registration fee is covered by Citrix

When will I receive confirmation of my registration?

An email confirmation will be sent to you upon completion of your registration. If you don’t receive one within 24 hours, please email patricia.calleja@citrix.com

What is the accommodation cost?

Citrix will cover the accommodation cost for the following:

  • Partner Executive Council attendees Monday 24, Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 April
  • Distributors Roundtable attendees Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 April
  • Partners attending the conference Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 April

If I want to arrive a couple of days prior to the APJ Partner Conference or extend my stay am I able to do that?

Yes you can. The venue will offer a discounted rate 2 days pre and post event. You will however need a dedicated link to ensure you get the discounted rate. Please email patricia.calleja@citrix.com and she will send you the dedicated link. If you book directly with the hotel, no discount will apply.

Will I need to present my credit card when I check in?

Yes you will need to present your credit card for any incidentals that you may incur. Citrix will only cover your specified room costs and registration fee.

Can I be denied registration for any reason?

Citrix reserves the right to deny registration to any individual, attending group or entity for any reason, at the company’s sole discretion, including for past or present failure to meet https://www.citrix.com/content/dam/citrix/en_us/documents/about/code-of-business-conduct.pdf (including, but not limited to, engaging in violent, illegal, threatening or discriminatory conduct).

Do I need a visa to attend the conference?

The following countries fall under the category of Visa Exemption in Thailand as long as you’re filling in your immigration form as a tourist. If you tick “business”, you will need to obtain a visa for Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bahrain, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Singapore, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab emirates, United Kingdom, United States of American, Vietnam. If in doubt, please contact your country’s consulate website. Please note, your passport MUST have 6 months validity to gain entry into Thailand.

What is the Check-in and Check-out time for the hotel rooms

Check-in time is from 2.00pm and check-out time is 12:00pm.

Where will I pick up my badge?

The on-site registration desk is located on level 1, Foyer by escalators. Signage at the event will direct attendees to the on-site registration desk.

Do I need to wear my badge throughout the entire conference?

Yes, please wear your conference badge to all functions, sessions and meetings so that you can be readily be identified as an attendee of APJ Partner Conference. Conference badges are a key part of the precautions being taken to ensure a safe and secure working environment at the Bangkok conference.

What meals are included at the conference?

Breakfast, lunch plus morning and afternoon refreshments during the conference. All attendees are invited to the Welcome Reception on Tuesday 25 April and dinner/awards on Wednesday 26 April. Lunch will also be served on Thursday 27 April.

What is the recommended attire for APJ Partner Conference attendees?

The attire for the entire conference is business casual. Please keep in mind the hotel is fully air conditioned and may be cool at times. A light jacket for indoor wear is recommended.

What is the common language spoken at APJ Partner Conference?

The official language of the conference is English. We will have translators for the sessions on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 April. Regional breakout sessions held on Thursday 27 April will be presented in your regional language.

Will internet access be available?

Yes, there will be Wi-Fi access available at the conference and in your room.

Can I get copies of the material presented at the conference?

Presentations will be posted and available on Citrix SalesIQ. They will also be emailed to all attendees after event

What are the fire safety procedures?

The hotel is equipped with a comprehensive Fire & Life safety system which includes the Automatic Fire Detection and Alarm system, Fire Protection System together with Emergency Response Procedures. The Automatic Fire Detection and Alarm system consists of addressable smoke detectors and monitoring devices installed in guestrooms and throughout the hotel that are connected to the main fire alarm panel in the Fire Command Centre. Staff in the Fire Command Centre will respond immediately to the activation of any device. The Fire Protection system includes automatic sprinklers together with fire hydrants and hose reels installed throughout the Hotel. These systems are approved by the Fire Department and regularly tested by our Fire & Life Safety Manager to an approved program. The hotel has an established, comprehensive Emergency Response Plan which includes the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and emergency management procedures. The ERT is on standby 24 hours daily led by the Duty Manager and supported by the hotel's Security and Engineering staff. All ERT members are fully trained in fire-fighting procedures, first aid and incident handling. Fire Drills are conducted frequently to an approved program. In addition a full evacuation drill is conducted twice yearly with the participation of all hotel staff

Does the hotel have any security?

Yes, the hotel has its own well trained and experienced security team who maintain close relationship with the local emergency services. These offices are backed by a manned security control room which has a 24 hour CCTV coverage of the hotel and a comprehensive alarm and access control system.
